Venice Lagoon Live Cam
Live webcam transmits real-time views of the Venice Lagoon. The camera locates in the hotel B&B La Rosa dei Venti & Porta da Mar in Venice (Italy). Webcam is directed towards the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute. The Salute was built in honor of the deliverance of Venice from the plague of 1630-1631. On the left side of the broadcast, you can see the snow-white lighthouse of San Giorgio Maggiore, located on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, one of the most famous islands of the Venetian lagoon. The lighthouse of San Giorgio Maggiore is about 12 meters high, built of white stone. A bridge made from the same stone connects it with the island.
