Mornac-sur-Seudre is a commune in the southwest of France, located in the department of Charente-Maritime. Located on the left bank of the Seudre, on the edge of the Arvert peninsula, the beaches of the Côte de Beauté and the large stretches of marshland in the Marennes-Oléron basin, this small town in the Royannais is organized around its fishing port and the medieval streets of its historic center, largely pedestrianized and punctuated by craftsmen's workshops. The traditional houses painted white and lined with hollyhocks are echoed by the halls, the old Romanesque church of Saint-Pierre, and the few vestiges of the castle of the barons of Mornac, which watches over the surrounding marshes.
