Church of St. James the Elder Live Cam

The oldest preserved building is part of the original church dedicated to St. Jakub Elder. The first written record of the church in Vlčnov can be found in a document of the Dominican monastery in Olomouc from 1373. However, the Gothic portal under the tower testifies that the church was founded in the middle of the 13th century. A Cistercian monastery founded the church. It is also possible that the parish priests from Vlčnov were also members of the Velehrad monastery. At present, the oldest part of the church is a protected monument.
